The Village is well known in and around the area for its creative and well attended Fourth of July Parade which is coordinated by a group of local volunteers.  In addition to the annual parade, each summer (June through October) the Village hosts a Farmers' Market on the Village Green on Friday mornings from 7:00 to 12:00 p.m.  This event showcases some of the very best fresh produce, cut flowers and baked goods in the County.  In addition to these favorites, the Village supports a wide array of special events from art festivals to concerts and community barbeques. The special events that are hosted by local non-profit groups help maintain a vibrant CBD, as well as promote strong community interaction.
